For its 7th edition, the François Schneider Foundation in Wattwiller (Alsace, France) launches the “Contemporary Talents 2017” Competition in order to discover, accompany and reveal new talents at the general public and to support the contemporary creation on the theme of water.

The competition chooses each year 7 laureates among a thousand of candidatures and it is open to candidates of all nationalities, all ages, and in all disciplines of the plastic and visual arts.

The support made available for the laureates is important:

-  An endowment of 20 000 euros per laureate
-  A collective exhibition at the Contemporary Art Center
-  A bilingual publication presenting the works of the prize-winners
-  The entry of the work in the Foundations collection

The call for applications is open from July 1st at 10:00 to October 1st 2017 at 23:59 (local time).
