What is the most pressing environmental issue of our time?
 
Submit your answer in the form of a curatorial statement that cites scientific research and includes proposed artworks that embody or reflect on your subject.
 
You may propose a group or solo exhibit with works in any visual arts discipline, but may not include your own artwork in your proposal.
 
Competitive exhibition proposals will:
·      advance the public’s understanding of contemporary art as a mode of discourse on issues related to the environment
·      include works of art that translate complex concepts into formats that are approachable/accessible by the public
·      bring awareness to the subject in an intellectually and emotionally compelling manner
·      promote sustainability in both artistic and curatorial practice
