Each year we invite national and international journalists to follow and cover Walk&Talk Festival in Azores. Some of them have visited us several times. Most of them would like to come back.

We are aware of the limitations that cultural journalism faces, especially arts writers and correspondents, regarding publishing space, access and mobility to cover art projects and events that are currently showed all around the globe.

We also believe that press professionals are active actors in the contemporary art scene and that their work is essential, not only as information, but most of all because it favors the knowledge and comprehension towards the arts, the awareness and sustainability of art practices, artists, agents, cultural institutions, projects and events.

That’s why Walk&Talk is promoting this open call for journalists. We what to know new medias and motivated journalists, invite them to Azores, introduced them to the participating creators, show them the works and projects that will be presented in this year’s festival edition. By doing this we aim to favor press mobility and the overall promotion of contemporary arts and its creators, reaching people from various geographies and spoken languages.
