Ättiksfabriken Art Space in collaboration with Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH).

The theme, Fuse, is meant to highlight the quiddity of the actual event through the two characteristics of the electrical device: being a sacrificial equipment and being disposable. The informations, sounds, images and concepts are loosing their actual identity during the observer´s process of anabolism, due to the dynamic nature of perception. At the same time, art has the role to short circuit connections in order to create new ones and new perceptive redundancy in the public.

This call is open to professional artists working with video.
The video and sound performance will be held in the central yard of the new KMH campus.
The event will have two sections:
Channel 1: for videos that have both sound and image. Those projects will be presented in the first part of the show.
Channel 2: the second part will present videos that will be projected in parallel with sound performances of the KMH students. For this section the artists can propose videos that rely on visual.

Ättiksfabriken Art Space is an artist-run space that aims to promote contemporary art and other cultural projects. The model which it proposes is the one of a bidirectional informational fluxus: from the projects realized within this space towards the exterior and vice versa, presenting to the local public international art projects and concepts.
