The National Shrine of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha in Fonda, New York is calling for artists to donate one special piece of art dedicated to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha. Kateri is the patroness saint of First Nations peoples and ecology. The Shrine is promoting the appreciation of sacred and religious art devoted to Saint Kateri.



We invite all artists whose work pertains to Saint Kateri, her National Shrine, Native American and First Nations peoples, or traditional ecological knowledge (TEK). TEK refers to the evolving knowledge acquired by Indigenous and local peoples over hundreds or thousands of years through direct contact with nature. Suggested entry donation = $35.
