Call for artists: "Contemporary Art - BEYOND" 1/08/2017 – 30/08/2017
All international visual artists are welcome to participate in the in the open call for an exhibition organised in cooperation with the municipality of Stara Zagora, Bulgaria to be held in gallery Bayer. The theme and general line of thought of the show is "Contemporary Art - Beyond".
The exhibition is a cooperation of /Loft/, a nonprofit organisation promoting art and culture, and the municipality of Stara Zagora.
The exhibition theme is really open to interpretations.
No returns, no fees. Your work remain in our art fund for future exhibitions (artists are, of course, notified when that occurs)
The Jury Prize - 150 euros
The People's Choice Prize - 100 euros
The new issue of Ismology magazine (http://fr.calameo.com/read/00396849814adf6520ab2">http://fr.calameo.com/read/00396849814adf6520ab2) will feature the exhibition artists as well as a brief presentation of their work.
In order to submit your work you must first send us an e-mail with an image of your work. If your work is selected you will be contacted one week after the deadline of the open call. Then you can send us your work via the post office.
Submission deadline for the open call: 5 April 2017
Submission deadline for receiving the artworks via the post office: 25 April 2017 Remember, you must be approved in order to send us your artwork via the post office!
Format: from 20 x 20 cm to 70 x 70 cm (any format in between; not necessarily a square) Write us a brief statement about your work to include.
No reproductions or photocopies; original artwork only.
All media are welcome. (however in the boundaries of the 2D)
Please include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, title and medium with each work.
