Goal: Finding new ways in architectural and sculptoring creations by using the stone
drywall technique
Scope: On the field testing the usage of stone drywall technique in sculptoring
without any shaping intervention on the material, bearing in mind that nature has
already perfectly shaped evertything, stone as well, leaving to humans „solely“ to put
stones together in a new structure and function resulting in improved integration of
arts in the nature.
Participants: 8 sculptors and /or architects interested in application of stone drywall
technique into their creations. Accommodation and food is provided by the organizer.
Participants have to organize and pay for the transportation to and from the workshop
venue (the nearest airport is Zadar Airport 40 km drive away, there are several trans-
portation possibilities from and to the airport). Persons arriving by car will be given
exact driving instructions.
Duration: Thursday May 25th untill Tuesday May 30th 2017
Time schedule: active participation in stone assemblying sculptures and forms on the
public space nearby the popular Dubrovnik beach 20 minutes walk away from the
accommodation venue in two blocks daily (3 hours each) is expected from all
participants.
