This program seeks clear and compelling proposals that advance Alumni development in their chosen practice in any field of creative inquiry. We define creative inquiry as any investigation that informs our humanity through art, writing, performance, social science, math, natural and physical sciences, or technology.

Six $1,000 grants will be awarded after proposals are reviewed by members of the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers Alumni Council and Staff. Exemplary proposals will demonstrate passion and dedication for the proposed projects. The Alumni Microgrant Program was created to support Alumni across all disciplines, states, and countries and to advance the Alumni Council’s mission of sustaining lasting relationships with each other.
