It’s LIQUID Group is selecting all interesting video art, photography, painting, installation/sculpture and performance art works to include in the next event:
LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH, It’s LIQUID International Art Show, that will be hosted in Venice, at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi, from February 10 to 28, 2017, during the period of Venice Carnival 2017.
LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH is organized and curated by Arch. Luca Curci (director of It’s LIQUID Group) and Andrea Chinellato (Director of Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi).
Artists, architects, photographers, video makers and performers are invited to submit their works and projects by e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com
LIQUID ROOMS – THE LABYRINTH is an invitation for artists to analyze their inner path, searching for their own identity, as artists and as human being. In the myths of different world cultures the labirinth represents an itinerary to overtake a complex situation and to discover a way out, a target to reach to express theirselves.
The Carnival mask is instead the element behind which hides the identity, creating each time a new and different one to wear during the search path. In this context, Venice, a labirinth of streets and canals, in which meet the thousands of masked figures, represents the twisted search of the expression of human identities by the means of art.
To take part in the selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video-art), links of videos/films/performances and pictures of artworks via e-mail to lucacurci@lucacurci.com
Artists and architects interested in taking part in our shows, are free to be sponsored and supported by institutions, organizations, governments and their representers; the logos of their sponsors will be included in all the communication (digital and print) of the events. Artists and artists are free to take part in one or more of the programmed events.
The number of works you can submit is unlimited. The participation in the festival requires an entry fee only for selected artworks. Participation opens to: artists, architects, designers, photographers, video makers, performers, architects and designers, associate groups and studios.
Deadline for applications is January 31, 2017 (11.59 PM of your local time)
