OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS

Organization Team of Ustructure is happy to announce the first open call for 1st edition of organization exhibition for Contemporary Art ‘’Ustructure’’ that is planning to be held in one of the beautiful and cultural cities of Kosovo such as Gjilani.

 Ustructure exhibition aims to accept applications from international artists and to reflect with different multimedia works such as Photography, Drawings, Designs, Installations and Art videos.

This exhibition will take place in the Center of the City in Gjilani, precisely in Professional Theater of the City, which is provided in the main entrance hall of theater, where recently municipality of Gjilan has renovated and there is a clear wide open space about 200 meter square, and inside of this space, for this project is foreseen to create a structure in shape of letter ‘’U”, which will serve to reflect this exhibition with selected artworks from artists.

Theme for first edition of this initiative is inclusiveness of your creativity, and it is set to be ‘’Ustructure’’= ‘’U’’ ( You) and ‘’Structure’’, (that means your structure: structure of your artworks, could be your personality, structure of your personality, etc…), so your proposal should be related with ‘’Ustructure’’ theme and selected artworks from artists will be arranged in this structure that has real shape of letter ‘’U’’.

Artists works that will be selected, they will not appear in physical form, but will appear in printed form or will be screening in displays inside of the U structure that will stay in the middle of the space for exhibition.

Ustructure is a good opportunity for participation to all international artists that wish to be part of this exhibition, but also there is a good opportunity for art lovers to enjoy an Contemporary art exhibition. So this organization aims to enriching cultural lifestyle of the Gjilan city, and this exhibition will be welcomed with much interest, based of Gjilan's cultural tradition.
