The Arte Laguna Prize is currently accepting entries from graphic designers, digital and new media artists from all over the world through December 14, 2016.
Digital Graphics submissions:
images generated or edited using a computer, tablet, smarthphone, or applications where the technological intervention is predominant. The works can be set up on a monitor or printed on a two-dimensional support with a maximum size 175 cm per side.
Virtual Art submissions:
works entirely created using the computer or digital applications and devices: videos, installations, performances in which the use of digital media plays a key role in the creative process and content; net art, software, interactive devices, videogames, augmented reality projects, rapid prototyping, etc. The works featuring an installation will have to be adaptable to the exhibition space available.
The 10 finalist artworks will be exhibited in March 2017 in the Future Centre, the Venice home of TIM, an incubator for developing new business opportunities for telecommunications and new technologies. They will be selected by an international jury including:
Ilaria Gianni (Italy, Curator and Art Critic)
Nav Haq (Belgium, Senior Curator at M HKA – Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp)
Igor Zanti (Italy, Curator and Art Critic)
Among the finalists the best artwork will be awarded with a cash prize of € 7,000, the work will remain property of the artist
