Tárrega  is very known due to its cultural involvement and specially because of the yearly international theatre festival and innovative http://www.embarrat.org/" target="_blank">art projects. The surrounding counts with several museums and even leading art galleries like http://www.galeriamayoral.com/" target="_blank">Mayoral in Verdu with works of Miró ,Picasso etc.
