Calendar Open Call

east bristol contemporary (ebc) are seeking black and white images for their show ebc010 which will take place 2nd - 4th December 2016. (ebc010 is our Christmas show and will coincide with a Christmas party/end of Roman (Gregorian) Calendar party).

12 images by 12 different artists will be selected, one for each month of the year. The images will then be printed large and shown in the exhibition alongside A3 calendars, which will be available for sale. Are you our Miss January?

Images must be black and white, and we encourage images that use solid fields of black, as these tend to reproduce better than grey-scale.

We are particularly interested in hearing proposals from emerging artists in the first 10 years of their career.

Works will be selected by ebc and Bristol based artist Callum Murphy; who will also present a new work in the show.

Selected artists will receive a small artist fee.

To be eligible for the exhibition artists must -

-Have signed up to the ebc membership scheme http://eastbristolcontemporary.com/support/become-a-member/
-We encourage artists to come to Bristol for the show if they can, although it is not compulsory, and we unfortunately cannot provide travel expenses.
