The ‘ace Artist-in-Residence International Program opens a special residency with focus in printmaking (with reduced fees!) for 4 weeks during November to December 2016

‘ace is an Artist-in-Residence International Program that provides time, space and guidance to explore expanded as well as traditional print media, while it connects the artists with the art scene of Buenos Aires, Argentina, one of the Latin America cultural capitals.

Take the advantage and come to the South during our summer to produce in an international reknowned printmaking studio!

This Special Production Residency with focus on Printmaking is intended to produce new work in three weeks. We welcome all kind of projects that use printmaking as main medium (Moku Hanga, relief, waterless lithography, photoetching, photolitho, monotype, silk-aquatint, etc.). We also provide accommodation in the city center of Buenos Aires!

This is an opportunity to:
o Develop a new body.
o Make a series of monotypes, and edition of prints or artist books (bringing the plates or doing the plates at ´ace).

AIMED TO:

a) Established as well as emerging artists who want to produce a body of work or to start a project that involves production.
b) Established as well as emerging printmakers that would like to access to specific equipment to produce their work, editions or to make large size prints with or without assistance from the master printer.
