Lusaka International Festival of Earth(LIFE) is a six day arts festival set in the heart of Lusaka.LIFE brings cultural practitioners from all disciplines together for a diverse program.This includes dance ,theatre, music,visual art, puppeptry, poetry, fashion and more.The festival will create global cultural exchange with Zambia.This enables all members of society to enjoy a variety of the arts .The festival seeks to raise awareness about the earth,and contribute to enviromental causes.Conferences and workshops will take place during the festival with both local and international hosts with cultural practioners.2016 shall be the Inaugral edition of the festival.This festival connects with the Circuit of Life regional touring circuit that may allow some artists to travel on to other festivals in the region. Life will advocate for enviromental issues through the arts.The festival will seek to raise awareness on relevant issues and also engage the public in activities such as tree planting. The festival dates are September 27th to the 2nd of October.Events shall take place across lusaka yet the festival hub will be in the agriculturul showgrounds of lusaka.Satellite events will also take place in Kafue.
