Following on from Geo_ScapeLands' first project '10 miles', I am again asking for your participation. Titled 'Direct', this project will involve you considering how you travel through a space.

Do you always take the same route?

If so could you tell me the pattern of your route? i.e. left turn after 100 steps, followed by a right turn.

Or do you only travel by car or train, if so how long is your journey? and why do you travel in that particular way?

Will you only travel in certain conditions, dependant on weather or time? and what particular sights do you see along the way?

By considering a few of these questions, or how you travel, I am asking you to direct the way I travel. By sending me a paragraph or series of instructions relating to how you travel; I will then use this as a starting point within my work. My aim is to experience my surrounding environment with a fresh perspective and create work based on your instructions or information. Your instructions will be shown online via twitter (@Geo_ScapeLand) and my website www.geoscapeland.com; alongside any work I create on the instructions given.

Alongside this, I will be creating a series of my own instructions. These will be uploaded to my twitter account @Geo_ScapeLand and my website www.geoscapeland.com. The instructions can be used within your artwork, under the proviso that any work created is made avaliable to Geo_ScapeLand.

To take part and share how you travel please complete the submission form or email GeoScapeLandArt@gmail.com.

I'd also be interested to hear about your reactions to the project. Please feel free to share your comments or work with me on twitter @Geo_ScapeLand.

Please note- You do not have to have participated in any previous projects to participate in 'Direct'.
