Eco and Arte is an artist run refuge (residency). We call it a refuge because this area has been a refuge to countless of citizens spanning hundreds of years. And for now it serves as a refuge for a poet (Rosaria) and a painter (Adrian) who wish to welcome their home to other artists (max. 2 people sharing).

Thus said, we are looking to share our small farm with nature lovers who are also visual artists, photographers, writers, etc who would like to experience an artist residency in the south of Italy in the region of Campania, province of Caserta.

Our one hectare and a half farm of olive and fruit trees is located on the slopes of Monte Sambucaro, a mountain that defines the borders of three provinces in Southern Italy, Campania, Lazio and Molise. Our town, San Pietro Infine is situated 2km from the farm. This town is famous for a gruesome battle during the second world war, that rendered the town completely destroyed and never restored to its former glory again. The mountain itself was also home to the original Sanniti people and there are numerous archaeological sites that speak of their presence. There is easy access by train to and from both Rome(150km) and Naples(80km). We are 50min by car from the sea (Gaeta) and 80km from the Roccaraso ski resort....
