In 2016 the Global Village project will be touring to 3 different location is Europe;



20-5-16 / 30-5-16       Honig-factory (try-out)*        Koog a/d Zaan, the Netherlands    



25-6-16 / 4-7-16         city-center of Landshut         Landshut, Germany



6-8-16 /  5-9-16          Kulturhuset Bronden             Brondby Strand, Denmark



Per location 50 artists from every part of the globe can show their artwork(s). From conceptual to figurative to street-art, all diverent forms of contemporary art is welcome.



How to apply for participation in the Global Village project for 2016?



Applying is easy; send an email too: GV2014@stichtingwhitecube.nl before 31-12-2015. Your email should include:





Your name




Your residence




Your nationality




Plus whitch location(s) has your preference




Do you intend to be present at the location(s)




What would you like to present (plans are allowed) (max. 250 words)




A short statement about your art (max. 100 words)




Plus max. 5 jpeg’s of your art (photos of the art you want to show and/or photos that represent your artistry) (email max. 2MB please!)





Note: the statement about your art plus the 5 photos are used during the selection-procedure. After the selection we will in cooperation with each artist select the artwork(s) for each location. During that proces you can present a plan for a site-specific artwork(s) or suggest already exciting artoworks.



Terms and conditions





There are no costs involve in applying and/or participating, however;




Each artists is responsable for the costs of sending and returning the artwork(s),




For € 50,- we can store your art and transport it to the different locations




Transport and storage of the artworks will be at your own risque, the stichting cannot be hold responsable for damages, etc.




At the stichting only vollunteers are working, therefore we cannot compensate you in the costs of materials, travelling, etc.




The stichting will do everything within their power to assist or aid artists in obtaining individuals grants at their home-countries to participate in this project.




A full-colour art catalogue will be made to accompany the 2016 tour.




If an artwork is sold, we charge 30% commission.

* The exhibition in the Honig-factory is a try-out exhibition. The exhibition space is smaller than the other 2 locations, therefore we want to show mostly the installations and other artworks that need more requirements for installing/presenting.
