After a successful first cycle of the art&science @ ESO – Residency Award, the partnership continues and http://www.aec.at/news/en/" target="_blank">Ars Electronica together with the http://www.eso.int/" target="_blank">European Southern Observatory (ESO) launches the second open call for the Residency program. The residency will again be part of the „European Digital Art and Science Network“ initiated by Ars Electronica and seven cultural partners throughout Europe (Center for the promotion of science, RS – DIG Gallery, SK – Zaragoza City of Knowledge Foundation, ES – Kapelica Gallery / Kersnikova, SI – GV Art, UK – Laboral, ES – Science Gallery, IE) with thehttp://www.aec.at/artandscience/open-call/#11680304"> support of the Creative Europe Program of the EU.

Artists from any country are invited to apply for a residency at the ESO in Chile. This call is open for digital artists, innovative concepts and ideas in the field of art, science and technology.

The final work and the results are going to be showcased at the Ars Electronica Festival 2016 in Linz and in the framework of modular, mobile exhibitions at the institutions of the seven cultural partners (Center for the promotion of science, RS – DIG Gallery, SK – Zaragoza City of Knowledge Foundation, ES – Kapelica Gallery / Kersnikova, SI – GV Art, UK – Laboral, ES – Science Gallery, IE).
