"My twin brother has gone missing somewhere in Istanbul.  His name is Jacob but he may be using an alias and posing as a local.  He has a small scar on his upper lip, is prone to excessive behavior, especially in eating, drinking, and dancing, enjoys telling fantastical stories and nonsensical jokes, and may often be found in the company of street merchants, antique dealers, and cats. If you think you have met him or someone who resembles him, or think you have seen his shadow or heard his voice, or perhaps smelled the trail of his cologne, or have brushed against him in a crowd, or anything else, please do one or more of the following:  take a photo, write a story, draw a sketch, find an object he touched or item of clothing he lost, shoot a short video, download a song he was listening to, write a poem, or respond in any other way to your encounter.  

Bring your response or artifact to the halka art project gallery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30th, and we will share our visions and sightings of my brother, construct a community mosaic, and try to piece together his mystery."
