The http://daartscollective.com/" target="_blank">Dubuque Area Arts Collective is looking for artists to submit to it’s newest exhibit "EARTH." Works should focus on topics related to environmental issues and/or consist of salvaged or found objects. The purpose of this exhibit is to showcase unique and contemporary perspectives on environmental topics as well as unexpected and sophisticated use of recycled and found materials. Both upcoming and established artists are encouraged to submit. All media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, multimedia, photography, digital, performance, installation art, video, etc. are eligible, as well as recycled art and works created with found objects or trash.
OPENING RECEPTION: July 25, 6 to 10pm.
Dubuque Area Arts Collective / 902 Main St, Dubuque IA
Exhibit will be open through the month of July. Reception will feature multi-arts projects and performances.
GRAIN MAGAZINE COVER CONTEST:
Best in Show will be featured on the cover of Grain Magazine, the Dubuque Area Arts Collective biannual arts publication, along with an artist feature in a two page spread. Publication will be released on August. Outstanding artists submitting to the exhibit will also be featured in the magazine.

TO SUBMIT:
Email submitdaac@gmail.com with your name, email, city of residence, and phone number. If a student, include your school and grade level. Please state whether you will be hand delivering or shipping your work. Artists must be at least 14 years of age.
For each piece submitted, please include: title, media, size, and price. Attach digital images of each piece (images must be of good resolution), and include an artist statement or a small description of the process or the intent of your work. Images must be attached to email and saved with tittle and last name of artist.
