WOOD SCULPTURE –  INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IN SØNDERBORG, DENMARK, June 14 - 21, 2015

Dear artist,

You are hereby invited to apply for participation in the 4. International Wood Sculpture Symposium in Sønderborg, June 14 – June 21, 2015.

The symposium will take place in the surrounding of the beautiful Castle of Sønderborg, in the immediate proximity to the harbour and the inner city. During the symposium, you can expect an audience of about 1000 visitors- each day.

The oak tree block which you will be working with has he dimensions: 60x160 cm.

In 2015, Uwe Wolff’s Foundation and the Municipality of Sønderborg will arrange this symposium together for the fourth time. Throughout an outstanding collaboration, a well-known and well-reputed event could be established over time.

This invitation will be sent out worldwide. This year, 10 artists will be invited after having screened all applications.

If you want to participate, you need to register at the link below which will guide you through the registration process where you need to upload following documents: your artistic CV, your photos and a draft proposal of your thoughts for your artwork in Sønderborg.

We ask you instantly to read the guidelines, which you can find at the registration-homepage. By registration, you proof that you agree upon our guidelines and policies and that you will fully comply with them.
