The workshop will take place March 30–April 3, 2015, in Ljubljana.

The aim of the workshop is to create fashion accessories with and for users with physical disabilities. The workshop offers an excellent opportunity to nine selected participants to take part in an international collaborative process focusing on universal, user-centered design. Participants will be challenged to create both aesthetically pleasing and functional fashion designs that offset the constraints of disability. In addition to being mentored by an interdisciplinary team of experts from both design and engineering backgrounds, participants will gain skills in a variety of fabrication techniques, as well as knowledge in basic programming and electronics for wearable technology. Selected prototypes from the workshop will be presented at a fashion show during the http://disartfestival.org/" target="_blank">DISART Festival (USA) in April 2015, the largest disability arts festival in the US, alongside other Open Style Lab designs. http://www.roglab.si/sveze/2015/call_for_participants_dda.pdf">Download Call for participants.
