Biophilia is a weeklong research residency for artists interested in biology. The program facilitates a series of field trips and workshops lead by scientists and naturalists in the forest, sea and biology lab. The action packed summer program will look at entomology, ornithology, marine biology, paleontology, mycology and botany during hikes into nature to observe and collect materials.

The residency includes an opportunity to participate in the installation of a living work of art to be exhibited with the Uncommon Common Art show in Kings County.

Participants will be invited to participate in the Research Artists Book Project.

The $1250 fee covers accommodation, food and all activities.
