Hello, we are glad to inform you about the launch of the beta issue of ISM/OLOGY magazine for (con)temporary art and culture.


Our non-profit organization was currently occupied mainly with organizing of art events and exhibitions, but we are ready for the next step. In that order we are publishing this art and text call for our first issue. The submission is totally free, no fees apply afterwards.


Art criticism call: call for critical texts on contemporary art fairs, artworks, artists, exhibits. If the text is for an event, it must be for a recent event (2 months ago). We are looking for aspiring writers of art criticism.


Curators call: several curators will be selected upon their work and will be interviewed for the Ism/ology. You can submit your current and past projects as well as a CV and any information you find interesting.


Writers call: you can submit any kind of recent unpublished work (it may range from short stories, poetry and prose to philosophy and literature)


Philosophy: we are extremely interested in the current philosophical trends which are the actual engine of contemporary art and culture. Any texts regarding philosophy ideas and trends are most welcome.


Artists call: the opportunity is free to enter and open to emergent as well as established artists. Your submission may include any kind and any technique of contemporary art. We are especially fond of innovation. We are looking for astonishing new talents as well as established international artists.


In order to apply please send us your CV, artist statement (if artist), bio and high quality images of your artworks(artist) as well as pdf, site, links and any additional info you find suitable.


Guidelines for text submissions:


-texts should not exceed 1400 words


-only unpublished work


-4 pieces of work per submission


 


No entry fee.


As a non-profit organization for now we cannot offer any payment to our contributors, but the possibility to be published and to reach a broader public!
