Deadline: October 15th 2014
L’Œil de Poisson, contemporary art gallery and production center in Québec city (Canada), is offering an artist the chance to present his or her work in its main gallery, following an in-house research and production residency. Highly involved in inter/multidisciplinarity, the centre promotes experimental art and breakthrough practices.
The residency will take place over a three-month period (mid-October to mid-January). It is primarily for artists who require the use of the wood and/or metal shops throughout this period as part of their installative, sculptural or multidisciplinary practice. While developing his project, the artist will have access to the center’s equipment and to a large shared workspace where many artists from the Quebec City region work under the guidance of professional technicians.
The chosen artist will be provided with accommodations and a per diem for the entire period. The artist will pay for his travel.
