BAUTANDO - 2° Edition of CALL'ART 2015

The Association VENICE C'ART presents the 2nd edition of CALL'ART, titled "BAUTANDO", in reference to the Bauta mask more important in the tradition of the Venetian Republic. 

The great success in 2014 has enabled the association itself to continue to invest and believe in the future of the artists of the national and international contemporary world. 

The exhibition "BAUTANDO" will take place during the Carnival of Venice, from 31January  to 17 February 2015, in the splendid setting of Space Badoer in the famous Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista, where artists from all over the world will exhibit their works and present their trends. The inauguration of "BAUTANDO" will be held on Saturday,  31January 2015 at the Space Badoer, attended by famous names of the lagoon city, international artists and gallery owners.

VENICE C'ART officially opened the selections of the participating artists and Artistic Director Gabriele Romeo had said: "This event wants to give artists the opportunity to exhibit at one of the most important events of the city before the Biennale 2015. The success of the first edition of the event saw the passage of more than 3000 visitors, thus prompting us to seek and propose even more prestigious places, such as the Space Badoer. The main objective is to create a relationship between Venice and the international contemporary art world, ensuring maximum visibility of the exhibited works by means of constructive and relationships in time with the artists. "

As with the previous edition, the bilingual catalog will be edited and presented by historian and art critic Gabriele Romeo, while the names of the jury members will be published online on the website www.venicecart.org, after the terms of the selections on 10th December 2014.
