Open call for submission for artists working in any discipline.

Exhibition dates: 13th of November – 9th of December 2014

Unit24 is a gallery created in response to the changing face of the world of art and it is fiercely independent – not beholden to institutions, funding bodies or the art establishment.
Yet it sits close to the heart of the art world – literally a stone’s throw from the Tate Modern. It recognizes the intersection of art and commerce – hence it bases itself in a location that has a ‘real’ business attached to it. Unit24 presents intersection of fine art and other visual disciplines.

As independent curators we are creating the show in collaboration with Unit24 gallery. We are searching for artists willing to participate in the project inspired by eternal and physical life time journey otside their background. We are all living in a transit, passing through different scenarios and places. Constant circulation influences all parts of our lives and forces us to redefine our identity.

‘A term obsessively repeated in Latin American (but not only) art is ‘identity’. The search for identity is, fundamentally, the wish that our actions and words seem and sound truthful. […] In art, we want our forms to give pleasure, to be real, original, and distinct from those of other cultures.’

The event will be actively supported through the gallery website, mailing list and social media promotion.

For more information and to submit works please email 6-8 high quality jpg’s including information about medium, size and price of the art work, a bio and artist statement (50-100 words) to:
