BODIES IN MOTION

Exhibition: August 21st – August 27th, 2014

Opening Reception: Thursday, August 21st, 2014

Deadline: August 18th, 2014

This August, Project Gallery celebrates the kinetic study of the human form in

their new exhibition, BODIES IN MOTION. We encourage artists to find

inspiration in the body, to observe its interaction with its surroundings and to

capture its many shapes, forms and capabilities. Creation in itself connects the

fluidity, strength, speed and the beauty of the body’s moving patterns to its

ability to command a medium. This exploration of the body will feature all

interpretations of movement, including motion within the body, space described

by the body and the control of active motion in all capacities. In admiration of

the human body in motion, Project Gallery invites all artists to demonstrate their

ability to portray multidimensional movement of the body within their work.

The gallery will accept a 25% commission, and transact any sales of consigned

artwork during the exhibition period. Please ensure all work is ready to hang

before drop-offs on Wednesday August 20th. There will be an opening reception

for the exhibition from 7-11pm on Thursday August 21, 2014.
