Desired Aesthetic
Seeking Contemporary artists with a “raw” aesthetic that utilize found, & unexpected debris materials and transform them into works of splendor. Visceral materials are combined with exquisite embellishment, and aesthetic appeal is not abandoned, resulting in a tension between repulsion and seduction. Wall-hanging works, Sculpture, installation art, and video art are welcome. Wall-hanging work should have some type of visible texture or dimension. Proposals for site-specific Installation art, and performances are welcome as well. This is a group exhibition, with a goal to show multiple works by each of the selected of artists.
