My first memories of the house where I lived with my family take me back to the top of the hill over my town.
Up there we had a long and narrow garden and I was not very fond of it despite the sunny days I used to spend playing with friends and family.
I was about 7 when we moved house and slowly a kind of regret started within me. Without a garden anymore I missed that feeling of freedom you can only have in the open air underneath a large blue sky and during the next few years I found myself day-dreaming out the window of my new room.
The landscape, and the sky, looked different every time, they were constantly changing in colors and atmosphere.
Years passed and when I moved out my family home, I decided to start a personal blog to post pictures taken out the window so that my family could day-dream with me wherever I was.
This project is now open for submissions with the aim of showcasing photographs taken out the windows all around the world. It’s the beginning of a new visual journey that brings us together.
