NE Fest – the international festival for independent experimental art announces OPEN CALL for participation in its second edition in September 2014. The call is for all young artists who recognize themselves as experimenters. The theme of the exhibition this year is “Points of view”. Artists can participate with one or more works with no restrictions on media.
We are expecting your individual or group project proposals for participation in NE Fest 2 in the fields of contemporary art, theatre, dance, video and music at our e-mail address nefest.opencall@gmail.com.
The deadline for submissions is 20 May 2014.
The selection will be made by the creative team of NE Fest with respect to the theme of the exhibition and the overall concept of the festival. All selected artists will be notified and given further information by email before 20 June 2014.

Technical requirements:

The application emails should include*:

●  According to the type of the project:
-  Images of the artwork
-  Videos – no more than 10 min length and 3-4 still frames
-  Music fragments (up to 3 min)

Accepted formats – .jpeg, .pdf, .gif, .png, .avi, .mov, .mp3, .mp4, .mpeg2, .mpeg4 or a link to the video on youtube or vimeo in case the file is larger than 15 MB

● Name of the artwork, technique, sizes, year of creation (all files should be named as follows: artist’s name_name of artwork_technique_sizes_year)
● Written concept and description of the artwork
● Additional requirements (if any)
● Artist’s full name, short CV, e-mail address
● Portfolio/website link (optional)

* Applications that do not comply with the technical requirements will not be considered.

Participants are expected to cover all costs related to the transportation of their artworks.
