ENCLAVE OPEN SUBMISSION

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for young or established curators, artists and collectives to submit exhibition proposals or longer term projects/programmes for the Enclave Open Submission Space between October 2013 and the end of July 2014. We are looking to select a small number of high quality proposals to be programmed over the next ten months.

In order to support projects at Enclave, we offer the following:

- A rent subsidy of up to 50% off commercial hire rate (the selected applicants will be required to cover the remaining rent (£92-£200/wk depending on length of project) )
- Enclave covers business rates and all utilities (except telephone) (fair usage policy applies)
- Free Wifi
- Shared installation and event equipment (ladders, folding chairs etc)
- Very low cost AV equipment rental (HD projectors, surround sound speaker systems, monitors, 100W DJ/PA kit, DVD players etc)
- Inclusion in the Enclave web portal (http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.EnclaveProjects.com&h=HAQGxvvZn&s=1" target="_blank">www.EnclaveProjects.com)
- Promotional assistance through social media and inclusion in Enclave's monthly email bulletin (to a database of 5,000 subscribers)
- Subsidised hire of the Enclave Gallery for extra events/galleries (aprox £50/day), if desired.

Proposals will be reviewed and selected by the Curator Lucy A Sames and the Director Anthony Gross and will be chosen on artistic merit and critical engagement.

There is no fee to apply.

ABOUT ENCLAVE:
Enclave is an artist-run infrastructure in Deptford, South London, housing a strip of ten project spaces and galleries, and Machine Party - a curatorial office, communal workspace, coffee bar and monthly speakeasy. The selected artists and curators running projects at Enclave actively pursue independent programmes benefiting from the site's communal action to generate collaborations and production both on-site and much further afield.

Current projects onsite include news of the world (The Centre of Attention); Divus LONDON; Third Text; Curatorial Timeshare; Lubomirov-Easton; Occupy My Time and Victory Press plus the Enclave gallery and Machine Party clubroom.
