The UCHRONIA conceived as a study of history, consisting of discussions and exhibition with the participation of authors of the older and younger generations, philosophers, critics, and culturologist. Participants reflect on alternatives of the past, present, and future, offering a vision, analyzing the existing approaches, imagery and aesthetic forms. One of the important themes of the project is the phenomenon of re-writing history and its role in the perception of reality.

The "uchronia" neologism (from the words "utopia" and "chronos", literally "time that does not exist") was suggested in 1876 by Charles Renouvier (Uchronie: L'Utopie Dans L'Histoire, 1876) and is commonly used as a synonym for alternative history . Philosopher and culturologist Michael Epstein examines uchronia as a result of chronoсide, the funeral of the time, "a mass grave of victims, brought on the altar of desirous Always": The idea of the "end of history" was in fashion in the early 1990's, a supposedly happy complete resolution of all conflicts in favor of the all-conquering western democracy (Francis Fukuyama). But in fact, this uсhronia on the democratic way, is not better than an utopia of the totalitarian, ideocratic sample. Uchronia, or the "end of history", as a rule, turns to the starting of the massacre or mass befuddling, ideological or video intoxication".

The exhibition will include the works themselves (video, installations, photographies, painting and objects), as well as documentation of meetings and discussions.
