Call for submissions- Spontaneous Combustion,  2013

This summer, ARtCH will hold its third ‘Spontaneous Combustion festival’. The festival will focus on and explore contemporary ideas of movement, dance and performance, happening in alternative spaces, within the infamous area of Hackney Wick. To do this, ARtCH will work in cooperation with local organizations within the community. 

We are currently looking for artists to submit works dealing, examining and/ or documenting movement, performance and dance for our group exhibition which will accompany the festival and will take place from July-August 2013. Works should be a series of B&W or colour photographs (8 – 12 in total) which can be developed to an A0 size and shows a series of continuous movements. 

The Exhibition will be juried and curated by ARtCH and Arbeit Gallery representatives and are open to everyone, with a low submission fee of £10 (£5 concession), to create equal opportunities.

The deadline for submissions is the 1st June, 2013 at 5pm

Successful applicants will be informed by the 8th June, 2013.
