This summer Artsadmin invites anyone aged 17-24 to work with celebrated artist Nic Green to question and contemplate what space is.

Why do we think of space as nothing? How can we go beyond our spaces into the spaces of others? What kind of space could we create ourselves and what could make there?

Spend four weeks challenging ideas of how you see and experience the space around you – through experimenting, collaborating and making new work as part of a new, creative collective. The first week of the project will be at Toynbee Studios, home to Artsadmin and the following three weeks will be placed in a space chosen by the group (be it a disused flat, a shop floor, an empty warehouse…).

No previous experience performing necessary, just a curiosity and a willingness to test out new ideas and work collectively.

Nic Green will invite all interested applicants to attend a taster workshop that will take place at Toynbee Studios on the 30th July and successful applicants will be selected to take part in the project from 12th August – 4th September. All applicants must be able to commit to these dates.
