The International Portrait Gallery Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) was founded in 1964. Since then, the Gallery has collected over 4000 works of art by native and international artists. Therefore, this institution can be considered a museum.

Since 1980 the Gallery has organized the INTERBIFEP International Biennial Festival of Portrait presenting creations in the field of drawings, graphics, photography and video art portrait, involving all kinds of individual expressions and various stylistic trends in contemporary arts.

It is one of the most prominent international cultural events taking place in the Balkan region. Up to now, it has gathered artists from more than 80 countries across the world.
