folio seeks to operate as an exhibition space on paper and is particularly interested in offering a platform for three-dimensional, time-based and de-materialised work to be realised on the flat page. We ask artists working with sound, performance, moving image and sculptural practices who are interested in presenting their work in a two-dimensional, printed format, to submit proposals for folio issue one.

In every issue, a different guest editor works with folio to bring together influences from different disciplines. This issue's guest editor is graphic designer Ward Heirwegh.

There will be a period of collaboration between the editors and selected artists while finalising the works.
