Dawn Here Dusk is a video installation continuously showing sunrise and sunset of one day from different parts of the world. Artists/filmmakers/dancers/ performers across the world are invited to submit video footage of sun rituals performed during the rising or setting of the sun documented on November 24th, 2012 from their city. The sun rituals could be observed or created by participating artists. Inspired by sun worships observed in various cultures such as native american http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Dance">Sun Dance, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surya_Namaskara">Sun Salutation in Hatha Yoga and http://ancienthistory.about.com/od/sungodsgoddesses/a/070809sungods.htm">Sun gods in Egypt and many other countries, the project seeks to create the 'perpetual sunrise/sunset effect' by continuously playing collected video clips one after another as the current time of their original locations meet the sunrise/sunset.
