If you (artist or gallery) find this message washed up on your screen, together with other stuff on a digital tideline,
you have found a bottle with the label: TITLE(date), and the message rolled up inside says: "Call to Collaborate ...".

I am working on a new project that uses titles of existing artworks to generate new artwork. For this to work I am compiling a database of artwork titles. I have created software, fonts and procedures to select, hybridise and recombine texts into textual/visual and audio work. So the question is, can you help me with my project to collect as many titles as possible? For you it is a way to network in an unusual way. Your title will appear on my website and if it is used as part of my textual based artwork it will disperse your artwork title/name by means of chance and opportunism. For instance via spoken word events where titles are read out loud. See the http://www.symbiotext.net/2012/06/29/discursive-exercises-with-five-years/">Tanks Summer School event at Tate Modern.

To collaborate is easy: send in titles of artwork using a secure form you will find here:
http://www.symbiotext.net/2012/06/08/title-date/">http://www.symbiotext.net/2012/06/08/title-date/
or scan the QR code with your mobile.http://www.symbiotext.net/2012/06/08/title-date/">

It doesn't matter if it is your own artwork or not. Titles you might love, hate, or just like the sound of. The only criteria is that the artwork and title exists. I am specially, but not exclusively, looking for contemporary artwork titles. The internet is good on collections of historic artwork but not great for collections of art titles made today. I am also interested to work with existing collections. If you are an artist or gallery with a database of titles please contact me or use the attachment option in the form below.

I would like to assure you that all personal data and email addresses will only be used by me, never sold or traded or used outside my art practice in any shape or form.
Please use the secure form (see link above) to send the art titles. I will contact you when work will be exhibited, or alternatively you can follow this website: http://www.symbiotext.net">http://www.symbiotext.net
