The 2nd Annual Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC is now accepting submissions through August 1, 2012 for short films and short screenplays.

From page to production, from production to profession, the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC seeks bold, creative, new voices in filmmaking. This is a judged contest awarding cash and prizes. We believe the greatest support given to filmmakers and screenwriters is financing to make more films.

Films 20 minutes and under in length Comedy, Drama, Documentary, and Animation Films must have been produced/completed with the past 3 years. Non-English submissions are welcome, but must be subtitled in English.

Screenplays

15 pages or less Comedy or Drama Screenplays must have been written in the past 12 months. All screenplays must be in English.
