Why a pie crust? Why not! PIECRUST is a metaphorical foundation, a base, a form completely reliant on others for success, but without it, all is lost. Pie, as well as art, is a labor of love and allows someone to make something for others that they not only indulge in  but also consume. This is why we chose a printed method for PIECRUST magazine rather than a blog alone. Readers will physically hold our issues, share that connection with us, and consume them visually, mentally, and physically.

We are building a forum for all fellow artists to engage with each other. We, the ladies of PIECRUST, are the bakers and providers of the PIECRUST, and you, the artists,  are the producers of the indulgent pie filling that will be your artworks on paper.

Our Spring and Summer issue theme is SOFT & SWEATY, so show us your flavor! It may be photographs or poetry, drawings or prints, fiction or non-fiction, sculptures or sketches, loose or literal, and everything in between. If it's on paper or made of it,  we want it!

Submissions to PIECRUST magazine must be emailed to us at:
piecrustmagazine@gmail.com by midnight on December 1st.  Please make sure that images are 300 DPI, and keep in mind that they will be printed in black and white xerox. Also include any information about the artwork that we may need.
