All artistic media will be considered for exhibition. The only stipulation is that the work must incorporate/employ/allude to one or more of the following topics:

Current Events
Consumerism
Social Change
Deception

There is no entry fee in order to be considered for this show. Selected artists will be responsible for s/h to and from gallery plus $10 per work to help cover the costs associated with the exhibition including promotion and opening reception. Artists are free to list work for sale. When pricing your work, please be mindful that the gallery will assess 30% on all sales made during the length of the exhibition.

FAQ
Review and Selection:
Work will be reviewed by a selection committee. Accepted artists will be contacted by October 14, 2011 and informed as to which entries have been selected for the exhibition. Work must be received by the gallery no later than November 9, 2011.
 
Costs:
There is no submission fee to enter. Accepted artists will be asked to provide $10/work in order to help with promotional and other gallery costs, including the opening reception. Artists are responsible for shipping both directions if shipping physical work is necessary. Artists will receive 70% of the sale price for anything sold during the length of the show.

Special sneak preview: Wednesday, November 16, 2011

About the Location:
The Wheeler Arts Community is located in the Fountain Square district of Indianapolis. It houses over 30 resident artists and their live/work spaces. Wheeler's main goals are to promote visual and performing arts in the local community, and to foster fellowship between artists.
