I mainly interested in portrait work and have challenged to photograph some group portrait. Family portrait work has been core study to move on communities and clubs.
Everyone exist in a group or community in order to survive and that would be a human nature. As I am from Japan where people tends to isolate outsider and now lives in foreign country as outsider,I know how it feels like to be outsider pretty much by now. Parhaps I am photographing portrait in order to come closer to the subjects. However, photographs shows the distance to photographer and hoping that viewer can somehow see my attempts. |
