I work mostly in photography, but also in video, installation and painting. I am interested in exploring how the urban environment and landscape we live in, namely the New York City public sphere, influences us as individuals. My basic aim is to plant a seed, a question, within the viewer’s psyche; if successful, it might awaken dormant emotions and inspire new sensitivity, sensibility and insight.

Still photography provides me with the magical capacity of stopping time; I use this to highlight a split second of reality.
