I see the process of painting in transcendent and playful way.
These abstract paintings in which we found improvisation and planning in the same measurement, are fed on references like the atmospheric Olafur Eliasson instalations, the storm Turner paintings, the Paul Jenkins phenomenas , the Japanese tattoo or the graphic design digital tools.
I apply compressed air beats directly on the painting diluted over the surface, at first sight they seem pictures similar to the abstract expresionism, but they are too clean, too playful and too flat in spite of his textural appearance; in a second look, we perceived certain details in the execution that remember registries that we can find in the digital tools, but the pictures are made in acrylic on canvas.
My work in constant change and transformation questions the possibilities of painting, reframing my form to see and to perceive. |
