Alteronce Gumby was born in Harrisburg, PA in 1985. He later moved Brooklyn, NY were he attend The Arts Students League of New York in 2009. To further his education, he studied at Dutchess Community College were in 2011 he earned his A.S.S. in Visual Arts.

Alteronce began focusing on fine arts in 2006, were he self taught himself various mediums such as: acrylics, mix media collage, and B&W photography, as of recently specializing in painting, drawing, and installations. Since finding his artistic voice he has shown in various galleries in the Hudson Valley: such as the Marion Royael Gallery, Beacon and Mildred Washington Gallery, Poughkeepsie. Gumby continues to work and live in Brooklyn, NY.
