Kael Greco is an M.F.A candidate and graduate researcher at the
California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology
specializing in data visualization and information aesthetics. His
work explores the construction of social space at the intersection of
physical infrastructure and electronic technologies; how the
activation/articulation of contextual, location-specific data
reconfigures notions of place.
Kael Greco holds Bachelor Degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics and
Art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to his involvement
at Calit2, Kael worked as a developer/content-creator at the Division
of Information Technology at UW-Madison on the Croquet Project: an
operating system for the post-browser Internet - a multi-platform,
open-source, extensible, decentralized, peer-to-peer, 3D authoring
space. |
