Paintings from this winter and spring done at my White River Studio and at the Vermont Studio Center during my residency.
In these paintings I work from black and white studies to redevelop a color image in the studio. I am interested in capturing the mood of the countryside in and around Vermont where I live. My work in sculpture has influenced the approach I take to the form of trees and land masses.
