FESTIVAL TV is a collaboration between the NEW LIFE BERLIN contemporary art festival and SAATCHI ONLINE TV in London, UK.
FESTIVAL TV invites artists working with video documentation to join us in Berlin this June for SAATCHI ONLINE TV's first-ever coverage of a contemporary art festival. Selected applicants will be working together as a team during the festival and will receive access to all NEW LIFE BERLIN exhibition venues, performances and reception parties in and around Berlin. Following the festival, the best video and documentation pieces will be featured on SAATCHI ONLINE TV and broadcasted to millions of daily art viewers.
Artists selected for participation in FESTIVAL TV will be fully in charge of their own filming and festival documentation and will keep the copyright to their own material.
Applicants to FESTIVAL TV must be fluent in spoken English (all interviews will be conducted in English to include as many nationalities as possible) and must be able to commit to at least three full days on the FESTIVAL TV team during NEW LIFE BERLIN (June 1-15, 2008).
